The Legal Information Center (LIC) works to help students understand their rights, explore available options, and find solutions to legal questions they may face.
The LIC has extensive resources in Bellingham, Whatcom County, and the state of Washington, which include numerous organizations as well as individual attorneys.
Through our on-campus programs and events, we at the LIC hope to bring to the Western Washington University community a greater awareness and understanding of the legal system.
Additionally, the LIC is an unofficial law school advisor, with information on over 150 different programs.
The number one commitment of the LIC is helping students gain access to tools they need in order to better help themselves.
The LIC is able to offer work study, intern, and volunteer positions to Western students. Please e-mail AS.ROP.LegalInfo@wwu.edu for more information.
